Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm)Primary Responsibilities:Develop consumer strategies and lead initiatives that help members maximize their plan benefits and deliver against Net Promoter Score goals Evaluate current resources and web experiences to optimize for the Hispanic member and align to broader member engagement goals Create consumer research plan, assessing proprietary and third-party data, to identify pain points for segmented member population in specialized plans including Hispanic membership, diabetes, behavioral, high deductible and value-based networks Lead high priority enterprise-wide initiatives, collaborating across the organization, setting clear direction and influencing senior management Translate business goals into marketing objectives and strategies that facilitate business growth by leveraging insights from data and setting clear metrics for success Develop consumer insight-led campaigns that drive members to in-network, premium and tiered providers Develop strategy, campaigns and ongoing initiatives that deliver against Diabetes Health Plan engagement business goals, improve diabetes health outcomes and reduce diabetes health care costs Orchestrate multi-media marketing campaigns that include digital, social, mobile, print, direct mail, etc. across enterprise-wide teams and external agencies Lead strategy and activations that drive engagement, plan understanding and HRA/HAS/FSA utilization for high deductible and consumer-driven health plans, in collaboration with Optum Bank Create new strategy, process and implementation model, leveraging provider relationships to drive engagement into Affordable Care Organization plans (ACO) Develop strategies for personalized, real time campaigns leveraging predictive modeling analytics to identify, deploy, and test best performing marketing activities; optimize campaigns based on key performance indicators Collaborate to identify, select and onboard new agency partners for member engagement campaigns Create campaign communication strategy that drives consistency across touch points and meets health literacy guidelines Develop project management process to coordinate, track & report on multiple elements of the campaign elements Route & track campaign materials through legal and key stakeholder approvals Oversee and manage marketing budget to deliver against engagement goals Develop process for competitive benchmarking and assessment Personal Attributes / Assets:Excellent verbal and written communication skills that are concise, candid and professional Ability to set clear direction and lead with confidence, conviction and presence Leverage technology to deliver business goals and improved consumer experience Proactive self-starter; with sense of urgency to achieve results Quick study, flexible and able to handle a fast paced, ever changing work environment Strong strategic and critical thinking with ability to challenge status quo with new ideas Ability to analyze situations, identify and troubleshoot problems, recommend solutions and use good judgment to make decisions
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in marketing or business 5+ years of strategic marketing leadership 5+ years of consumer or retail marketing experience Proven success in the development of strategic marketing plans tied to business goals and deployment of innovative integrated marketing campaigns Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints. Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver results on complex initiatives Ability to work collaboratively and influence across levels in an entrepreneurial and highly matrixed environment Proven success managing multiple agency and external vendor relationships Strong, proven analytical skills Digital and database marketing to reach targeted segments is a plusPreferred Qualifications:Experience in developing Hispanic marketing strategies, identification of population segments using various research and syndicated dataCareers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.
