The Digital Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for successful implementation of BASF Construction Chemicals Americas' digital strategies across web, mobile, and social media platforms. This person will have responsibility for planning, coordinating, and implementing interactive marketing and communication projects based on corporate branding guidelines and in support of corporate strategies and communications goals, with a focus on the corporate website, content marketing initiatives, and social media. Must be knowledgeable in current trends/best practices, user experience, SEO, social media, web analytics/measurement tools, and have a passion for online engagement.

Formula for Success: You Will...
Defines and implement the digital marketing strategy for North America in coordination with the Marketing Communications Manager.
Handle the daily operations of digital projects, including research, scope development, project management, and execution.
Research and understand customers' digital needs.
Own digital marketing best practices and standards within the organization, including reporting and measurement. Regularly analyze and report on project metrics and adjusts plans accordingly to deliver maximum results.
Create and manage business websites and update content (in coordination with Communications Team).
Train and support webmasters.
Work with the Global Communication Team to continuously improve the quality of the websites.
Increase the organic visibility of websites through SEO.
Partner with marketing teams and outside vendors to create, update, and maintain apps and mobile technologies.
Serve as an advisor in the development and implementation of content marketing and social media programs that meet business objectives.
Manage the use of outside vendors to complete design and development work as necessary.
Collaborate with the Communications network to assure consistency and conformance with the BASF Corporate guidelines of all digital materials.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You...
Bachelor's degree required in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in planning and executing interactive and social/mobile media communications, campaigns, and applications.
Demonstrated ability to execute programs with electronic media, social media, and mobile applications. Ability to identify the appropriate digital platforms for specific business objectives.
Proficiency in website content management systems; demonstrated experience using web analytics and SEO to improve website quality and user experience.
Basic photo, video, and audio editing skills; experience with design programs a plus.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as customers and vendors.
Self-motivated and enthusiastic about digital technologies.
Highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
